The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a sweeping overhaul of its national organisational structure, with Assam BJP leader Mriganka Deo Barman appointed as a National Secretary. BJP National President Nitin Nabin approved the series of key appointments with immediate effect.
According to a press release issued by the BJP Central Office, the reshuffle covers the party’s national office-bearers, morchas, regional coordination teams and media and digital wings.

13 National Vice Presidents Appointed
The BJP has appointed 13 National Vice Presidents as part of the organisational revamp. The new team includes former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, Ram Madhav and Baijayant Jay Panda.
D. Purandeshwari, Rekha Verma, Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi, Bharti Pravin Pawar, Manpreet Singh Badal, Lal Singh Arya, M. Nagaraja, Tariq Mansoor and Madhuchandra Kar have also been appointed National Vice Presidents.
B.L. Santhosh has been retained as National General Secretary (Organisation), while Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed National Joint General Secretaries (Organisation).
New General Secretaries and National Secretaries
Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia have been named National General Secretaries.
The newly appointed National Secretaries include Pradip Varma, Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel, Sandeep Pathak, Phangnon Konyak, Kavita Patidar, K. Surendran, Bhola Singh, Sangeeta Yadav, Anil Antony, M. Venkateshan, Manoj Tigga, Siddharth Shambhu, Swadesh Singh, Mriganka Deo Barman, Rohan Gupta and Jal Prakash.
Goyal Gets Treasurer’s Responsibility
Piyush Goyal has been appointed the party’s National Treasurer, while Rajesh Mangal will serve as National Joint Treasurer.
Tarun Chugh has been given charge as Central Office In-charge, with Mahendra Pandey appointed Central Office Secretary.
For the North-East, Sambit Patra will serve as North-East Coordinator and Rajiv Babbar as Joint Coordinator.
Vishnu Datt Sharma has been appointed All Cells Coordinator, with Rituraj Sinha and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy named Joint Coordinators.
New Leadership for BJP Morchas
The organisational restructuring also brings new leadership to several BJP morchas.
Dr. Hemang Joshi has been appointed Yuva Morcha president, while Roop Kumari Choudhary will lead the Mahila Morcha.
Amarpal Maurya will head the OBC Morcha, Bansilal Gurjar will lead the Kisan Morcha and Shivesh Kumar Ram will oversee the SC Morcha.
Dr. Mannalal Rawat has been appointed president of the ST Morcha, while Kunwar Basit Ali will head the Minority Morcha.
Media and Digital Wings Reconstituted
The BJP has also revamped its media and digital communication teams.
Anil Baluni has been appointed Media Convenor, with Ashish Usha Agrawal, Pradeep Bhandari and Siddharth Yadav named Media Co-Convenors.
Deepak Mhaskey will serve as Social Media Convenor, while Priti Gandhi and Shivanand Dwivedi have been appointed Social Media Co-Convenors.
The BJP said all appointments approved by National President Nitin Nabin will take effect immediately.
The wide-ranging reshuffle places experienced leaders in key organisational roles and aims to strengthen coordination, regional outreach and the party’s organisational machinery across the country.
