Water Pipeline Bursts in Mathgharia, Disrupting Traffic and Troubling Residents

Residents and commuters in Mathgharia No. 2 faced fresh inconvenience on Tuesday after a water pipeline reportedly burst near Durga Mandir, sending a large quantity of water flowing onto the road. The incident once again highlighted concerns over recurring damage to water infrastructure in the locality.

According to preliminary information, the pipeline developed a leak while cable-laying work was reportedly being carried out in the area. The sudden rupture resulted in water spilling across the roadway, affecting the movement of vehicles and creating difficulties for pedestrians and local residents.

The flow of water reportedly spread over a portion of the road, making the stretch difficult to navigate. Residents and commuters were forced to deal with the disruption as water continued to accumulate on the road.
